城邦文化事業公司推出的「遊戲基地」網站遭駭客入侵，管理帳號及密碼頻遭破解。經過刑事局深入調查後，揪出幕後黑手竟是施姓外聘員工，及為了強化遊戲中虛擬幣值自行突破防火牆進行更改的吳姓少年。
刑事局偵九隊去年底獲報「遊戲基地」持續遭到不明駭客入侵後端資料庫，許多管理者帳號及密碼都遭破解，遊戲中的會員經驗值、虛擬幣值等電磁紀錄遭不正常竄改，刑事局於是與網管人員聯手展開清查。
經過濾分析相關連線紀錄，鎖定駭客是高雄一名年僅16歲的吳姓少年，昨日將他帶回偵訊後，供稱入侵網站知識及技術都是利用GOOGLE強大搜尋功能找出網站漏洞，自行突破防火牆管制進入內部資料庫，取得會員及管理者帳號。
吳姓少年辯稱是為了協助「遊戲基地」找出安全漏洞，且更改會員經驗值、虛擬幣值只是為了測試，最後也只有修改自己本身資料，然而卻讓公司耗費龐大成本進行網站改版。
另外追查個人資料電磁紀錄也被更改一事，還循線查出曾參加遊戲比賽的參賽者施佳凱（19歲）涉案，施嫌到案坦承去年底任職「遊戲基地」的外聘站務人員，負責審核、處理討論板事務、會員違規相關問題等，由於任職期間輕易取得網站管理者帳號及密碼，在未經授權就擅自修改個人與特定網友經驗值、虛擬幣值，也遭到解職。
